ARCHITECTURE TALKS HISTORY: Washington State

This driving tour combines research and travel to help you learn local history in a fun, creative manner.  The architecture of Washington’s cities can tell us much about the unique history of its time period.  After selecting a Washington city to study from the list provided, you will photograph at least one existing building from each of six eras and then research the building and its historical context.

You will demonstrate your learning by creating a multimedia project that will unify local, state, national and world events for each of the six eras of Washington state’s history.

This class is designed for active learners of all K-12 grade levels who are creative thinkers wishing to improve their knowledge of local history, their research and their presentation skills.

There are no additional material fees for this class.
