Zoe Weil is the cofounder and president of the Institute for Humane Education (IHE), www.HumaneEducation.org, which created the first Humane Education Certificate Program and M.Ed. degree in humane education in the U.S., both distance learning programs. IHE also offers humane education workshops and month-long distance learning courses. Zoe is considered a pioneer in the humane education movement and speaks regularly in schools, universities, and in communities across the U.S. and Canada. She is the author of six books including Most Good, Least Harm: A Simple Principle for a Meaningful Life and Better World, Above All, Be Kind: Raising a Humane Child in Challenging Times, and The Power and Promise of Humane Education.
