Fawn Custer, M.S., has worked in both formal and informal educational settings for over 20 years.  She earned a BS in science education, a BS in biological sciences, an MS in environmental education and an MS in integrated science with post graduate courses in learning behavior and free choice learning.

Her current teaching license endorses biological sciences and chemistry, though for the majority of her teaching career her emphasis has been in marine science.  While developing and implementing marine science and environmental science lab classes for the Hatfield Marine Science Center (HMSC), Ms. Custer also taught high school marine science on-line, developed invasive species curriculum for educators, co-hosted and trained teachers to use GLOBE (Global Learning and Observation to Benefit the Environment) in their classrooms.

Fawn and her husband reside in Seal Rock, Oregon.  They have 3 girls, two of whom are adults with their own children and a 16 year old.
