LIZZY CARNEY, M.ED., received a Master of Arts in Education from Antioch University (2010) and a Bachelors of Arts in Special Education from Gonzaga University (1983).

She is a reader, writer, teacher, traveler and believer in providing opportunities for others to embrace the magic of books. She loves to assist others to find and trust their voice through writing and through discovering their creative self.

In her years of K-12 classroom experience, Lizzy introduced her students to the pleasures and joys of reading and writing. She has a vision of learning as a life long expedition and embraces the detours along the way. 

She believes in allowing others to explore their creativity while in their learning process. Lizzy is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators.
