DISCOVERING SCIENCE THROUGH ART EXPERIENCES
Discover an exciting opportunity to teach basic science concepts through art experiences; learn how art and science intertwine. Innovative resources use a hands-on approach in teaching children about the natural world through creative activities. This class supports the National Science Standards for meaningful integration of art and science concepts and processes. It also covers the science themes of structure, interactions and energy and includes a detailed chart helpful in selecting appropriate projects for specific outcomes. Adaptable to K-12 science study. Additional textbook fees will be from $20 to $30 depending on where they are purchased.
