INSPIRATIONAL READINGS FOR EDUCATORS AND THEIR STUDENTS

Readings that inspire are a wonderful way to learn and to elicit reflection of the deeper thinking on which we build a sense of self. Participants in this course will be inspired and encouraged in their reading of Canfield and Hansen's book Chicken Soup for the Soul, and its sequel. In turn, participants will design plans to incorporate inspirational readings into their curriculum, and will explore strategies to use these readings for improving student self-esteem. The two books required for course reading are available in many stores and local libraries.
