This course is your roadmap to harnessing the full potential of Magic School's AI model. You'll learn to craft innovative lesson plans, generate creative ideas, and streamline those time-consuming administrative tasks that often eat into your teaching time (goodbye, endless email chains!).

In this practical, hands-on course, I’ll show you how to harness the power of AI to engage your students and transform their learning experience. I’ll introduce you to AI tools and techniques that help you teach everything from math to rap battles (yes, you read that right).

Design Thinking is a critical skill needed for our students to be prepared to solve life skills they will encounter throughout life in any circumstances. Design Thinking is the non-linear iterative process in which to solve problems. The engineering design process includes the following:

1) Define the Problem
2) Research
3) Plan
4) Create
5) Test and
6) Improve.

Code.org and Scratch are two free online programs that teach students basic coding skills and allow them to create various projects of their choice, including games, animations, stories, and art.

In the original Google Classroom course, we were introduced to the basic features of Google Classroom and put them to use with students. In the second Google Classroom course, we took our practices to the next level by building a simple website, upping our communication with parents/guardians, and rocking some rubrics. In this course, we will explore features that are desperately needed in today's learning environments. We will explore grading and returning question answers, attach videos we've made ourselves, as well as an individual assignment where you explore the EDU 90 series to find what works best for you.

In this course, teachers K-12, you will learn how to balance your life so that you can feel more positive about yourself and teaching, feel better both physically and mentally, and determine your non-negotiables, what to let go of, and how to have a mindset of self-efficacy.

Use of Google Classroom to create a more organized, coherent classroom feed geared toward student success. You will maximize communication with guardians. Discussions, Rubrics, and Grading will also be explored. You will experiment with add-on functions to tailor the learning experience to individual needs. For K-12 educators proficient in Google Classroom who want to go to the next level. Collaboration is possible. No required text for this class, all materials are free online.
