This class provides teachers with skills needed to implement a positive language arts program.  It will guarantee reading success through a positive literacy environment, phonics, homework packets, assessment, parents as partners, emergent writing, word families, word walls, and literacy centers.  Participants will be challenged and motivated to incorporate new instructional approaches into the classroom to increase student's achievement.  The activities and materials are teacher-developed and tested for success in the classroom.  This class is the complete package for a great language arts program.  All the activities for this class can be used as supplemental materials to any adopted reading program.  Kindergarten through third grade teachers, resource teachers, bilingual and ESL teachers would benefit from this class. 

$40 additional material fee to be paid to the instructor after registration for the video or CD, postage, and resource packets.
