Six Indicators of Highly Effective Teachers was an excellent text, with each chapter opening my eyes to well researched teaching practices that would benefit any educator. I believe my teaching will be better for it. Mary Ann Johnson consistently gave positive and immediate responses to my work and I was glad to work under her guidance.
Six Indicators of Highly Effective Teachers was an outstanding read, with each chapter spelling out another aspect of effective teaching. The careful planning, the posted lesson objective, and the delivery of each lesson makes a big difference in learning. This book made me see how necessary it is to assess each student, and to do it frequently. From an oral assessment of a read to written responses, they factor into how much has been learned and what must be re-taught.
